so far this summer I have had the first taste of what it may be like in six months when I graduate.....  at least, insofar as it will be with setting my own schedule, keeping my own goals and the like.  Unfortunately, that has shown me that I have a whole lot to learn in the realm of self discipline and self scheduling!  I have just one thing to say to myself at this point- and that is: set your schedule and start keeping to it! :)  (since "uh oh" isn't a constructive thing to say to oneself after all....)

Living in Florida has been an interesting influence on me to say the least.  When we first moved down here, I was unhappy in a career that I had been in for seven years post graduate....and it had taken me 9 years of education to reach it.  I was conflicted about any thoughts of leaving because of the sheer amount of time and effort I had already invested (hey, we are talking a large portion of my life sunk into this after all!) I've discovered that it takes almost as much courage to admit that you made a mistake as it does to make a change.  Thankfully, I found that courage thanks to support from my husband and the apparent change in climate
